How to Create a LINE Sticker Sheet & Tips

A LINE sticker sheet can be created easily using an AI, such as ChatGPT, that can generate images with a transparent background.
If the image background isn’t transparent, an error will occur when the stickers are cut out. So whenever you generate an image with ChatGPT, make sure to include "with a transparent background" in your prompt every time.
Also instruct the AI in your prompt to add a white outline around each sticker. This keeps the stickers looking clean even against a dark background.
If you created the image with a white (or other solid) background, use IvyBOT’s BG Remover to make the background transparent before uploading.
For clean cutting results, we recommend keeping no more than 3 stickers per row in your LINE sticker sheet. Using too many per row, such as 5 or 6, won’t leave enough space for each sticker.
You don’t need to align the columns perfectly. Layouts such as 3 stickers in the first row and 2 in the second row can still be cut out correctly.

Sample ChatGPT Prompt (Copy & Paste)

Please generate a sticker sheet containing LINE sticker images arranged in a grid layout (either 2 to 3 columns and 2 to 4 rows), based on the reference character design.

**Character & Art Style:**
- Character: Use the exact same character design from the reference image (a friendly white-and-green robot with headphones and a small green sprout on top).
- Style: Cute, flat vector illustration, colorful, thick white outline around both the character and speech bubbles.

**Grid & Spacing Requirements (Crucial):**
- Layout: 2 to 3 columns and 2 to 4 rows (e.g., 2x3, 3x3, or 3x4 grid).
- Vertical Spacing: Clear, continuous horizontal transparent space between EACH row (no vertical overlap between rows).
- Horizontal Spacing: Clear transparent gaps between individual stickers in each row (stickers do NOT need to align perfectly into vertical columns, as long as there is distinct space between neighboring stickers).
- Background: Transparent background (PNG).

**Sticker Content & Expressions:**
Include common English daily greetings in bold, clean speech bubbles with expressive poses:
1. "Hello!" (Greeting with a wave)
2. "Thank you" (Holding a big heart)
3. "Yay!" (Jumping with joy)
4. "Nice!" (Thumbs up)
5. "OK" (Polite bow with "OK" hand sign)
6. "Good job!" (Fist pump for encouragement)
7. "Good night" (Sleeping peacefully on a cloud)
8. "Peek-a-boo" (Peeking from behind a wall)

Prompt Tips

Attach the Image: When entering the prompt into ChatGPT, make sure to attach and send the character image along with it.
Grid Layout: Specify 2 to 3 columns and 2 to 4 rows (e.g., 2x3, 3x3, or 3x4 grid), and include an instruction to add spacing between the images so this cutting tool (IvyBOT) can easily distinguish them.
White Outline & Transparency: Instructs the AI to add a thick white outline around the character and speech bubbles, and to output the image with a transparent background.

LINE Sticker Image Size & Format Guide

When creating and submitting LINE stickers, each image type has its own recommended size and format. With this tool, you can simply upload your sheet and it will automatically crop and resize every image to the optimal size in one go.

Chat tab image (1 image)
- Size: 96px wide x 74px tall
- Purpose: The small icon used to select the sticker set from the keyboard area in a chat
Main image (1 image)
- Size: 240px wide x 240px tall
- Purpose: The cover image shown in the LINE Store / sticker shop
Sticker images (8 / 16 / 24 / 32 / 40 images)
- Maximum size: 370px wide x 320px tall
- Note: Since the image is displayed at a reduced size automatically, it is recommended to keep the original aspect ratio and leave a margin of about 10px on all sides.
